Privacy Policy

Larvel Player is a music player for local files with optional internet radio streaming. We are committed to your privacy. This policy explains what little data is involved in operating the app and how we handle it transparently.

We do not collect, store, or share your personal data. Everything stays on your device.

The app requests only what it needs to function:

• Storage / Media Access — To read your music files from your device.
• Internet Access — For optional radio streaming and loading ad content.
• Notifications — To show playback controls while music is playing.
• Vibration — Haptic feedback on button presses.

All data lives on your device only:

• Playlists, favorites, and settings stored locally
• Play history stored locally
• Tag edits saved to your local music files
• Custom album art cached locally

Uninstalling the app deletes all of this from your device.

Larvel Player is free to use. To support continued development, the app displays ads in certain areas. All advertising is implemented in full compliance with applicable regulations including GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation), CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), and Google Play's advertising policies.

• Where ads appear — Ads are shown only on specific screens and features within the app, not universally across every screen.
• Interstitial ads — An ad may appear after you have played a certain number of songs. This is intentionally infrequent so playback is not interrupted during normal listening.
• Non-intrusive design — We deliberately limit ad frequency and placement to ensure the listening experience remains smooth and uninterrupted.
• Ad network — Ads are served through Google AdMob, which handles all ad delivery and associated data processing.
• Consent (EU / EEA users) — If you are in the EU or EEA, a consent dialog is shown before any personalized ads are served, powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP SDK). You may opt out of personalized ads at any time.
• Data used for ads — AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID), IP address, and general usage information to serve relevant ads. This data is governed by Google's privacy policy and not shared by us.
• Opting out — You can reset or opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device's Settings → Google → Ads.

When you use the Radio feature:

• Streams provided by public broadcasters via the Radio Browser API
• Content belongs to the respective stations — we don't host or own it
• Your listening is not tracked or logged by us
• Radio Browser may log station clicks for their own analytics (not linked to you)

Radio is completely optional. The app works fully offline for local music.

• Processed securely through Google Play Billing
• We do not store any payment information
• Google Play handles all payment processing
• Purchase is to support development — all features remain free

We use the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob — Ad delivery and monetization
• Google Play Billing — Optional in-app purchases
• Radio Browser API — Free internet radio (optional)

Larvel Player is suitable for all ages. We do not collect personal information from users of any age. Ads served comply with COPPA restrictions for underage users.

If we update this policy, the new version will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
